This is not satanic or meant to be so. Samhain is "the Thin Veil between the worlds is lifted. Communicating with ancestors and departed loved ones is easy at this time." To give a very short, simple answer. So that is why those ritual "items" are on the floor with the pentacle. Anyway! Happy Halloween.
